The First Team Legend Excel Dual Basketball System features two 42”x 72” rectangular steel backboards and two double 5/8” diameter high strength steel rims, adjustable from 6’ to 10’. The First Team Legend Excel Dual Basketball System is built with durable steel components, featuring a 6” square 3/16” wall steel tubing for both the vertical pole and the two 45-degree extension arms. The vertical pole requires 48” burial in concrete and is sealed with a watertight steel cap. These extension arms provide a 66” extension from the front of the pole to the face of the backboard, supported by a ¼” thick backboard mounting plate and a 4” square 1/8” wall secondary arm tube.

The system includes two 42”x 72” rectangular steel backboards, each with a 10 gauge steel skin, ¼” thick vertical struts, a white powdercoat finish, a 2” orange border, and an official orange shooters square. Two standard rims, fabricated from 3/16” backplates and sideplates and double 5/8” diameter high strength steel, are powdercoated orange and include nylon nets with a netlocking system. The rim height is adjustable from 6’ to 10’, with rims and backboards directly mounted to the pole using high strength steel bolts.

All steel components undergo maximum penetration, continuous weld, MIG procedures and feature a polyester powder-coated black finish on the pole components. The entire system weighs approximately 1033# and comes with a Lifetime Unconditional Warranty covering the pole, backboard, and standard rim.

Lifetime Unconditional Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
