The First Team OmniChamp Select is the best-value configuration in First Team's OmniChamp portable line, pairing a full-size 60"x36" ½" acrylic backboard (clear anodized aluminum "L" frame, bright white screening) with a flexible institutional breakaway rim on a one-piece 4" square, 11-gauge steel post — all made in the USA.

Rim height adjusts tool- and ladder-free from 7'6" to 10' in 6" increments using a pole or broom handle; a spring counterbalances the backboard so adjustments are a one-person job. The all-weather HDPE base tank holds a minimum of 400 lbs of sand and rolls on handle-activated 4" transport wheels with rear swivel castors for a zero-turn radius. A minimum 18" post-to-backboard extension keeps the unit compact against the wall.

Lifetime Limited Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between OmniChamp, OmniSlam, and OmniJam?

OmniChamp uses the Insta-Just bracket and adjusts from 7'6" to 10' in 6" increments with the shortest overhang for space efficiency. OmniSlam uses a pull-pin adjustment (7'-10'), and OmniJam adds a crank adjustment (7'-10') for the widest range of ages.

What backboard and goal come on the OmniChamp Select?

The Select configuration includes a 36"x60" acrylic backboard (FT220) and the FT186 Heavy-Duty Flex goal.

Does the OmniChamp Select need concrete or ground anchoring?

No. The FT3003 base tank holds up to 500 lbs of sand for stability, so no concrete pour or in-ground anchor is required.

Can I convert an OmniChamp to crank (OmniJam) adjustment?

Yes - order the FT1300 Jam Extension Arm to add crank operation.

Is the OmniChamp Select made in the USA?
