The Retrofit36 Endura is a backboard refurbishing kit featuring a 1/4” thick silver powder-coated steel support structure compatible with most 36” tall First Team backboards and poles with a 6”x6” faceplate. It includes a 36”x 60” rectangular aluminum backboard with a white powder coat finish and an orange shooters square, along with a double 5/8” diameter high strength steel rim that is powder coated orange. The entire system weighs approximately 145# and comes with a Lifetime Limited Warranty for the support structure, backboard, and standard rim.

The Retrofit36 Endura features a support structure constructed from 1/4” thick steel, finished with a silver powder coat. This structure is designed to bolt into the backside of most 36” tall backboards manufactured by First Team, Inc. It also offers vertical mounting slots, enabling the backboard to be attached to most poles that have a faceplate of at least 6”x6”, though drilling may be required.

Included with the kit is a 36”x 60” rectangular aluminum backboard. Its skin is a 10-gauge aluminum pan, finished with a white powder coat and marked with an official orange shooters square. The standard rim is fabricated from 3/16” backplates and side plates, fully welded, and consists of double 5/8” diameter high strength steel welded at a minimum of six places. The entire standard rim is powder coated orange and comes with a net locking system for either nylon or chain nets, with a nylon net included.

The complete Retrofit36 Endura system has an approximate weight of 145#. A Lifetime Limited Warranty covers the support structure, backboard, and standard rim components.

Lifetime Limited Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
