The RuffNeck Supreme-EXT Basketball System features a vertical pole constructed from 4 ½" O.D. RS40 zinc flow coated steel tubing with a 7 ga. wall thickness. This design allows for a 48" bury into the ground and provides a 60" setback from the post to the backboard. Two 1" round galvanized tubular braces support the top corners of the backboard and connect directly to the pole, with the rim mounting through the backboard into the horizontal extension to eliminate backboard stress.

The system's backboard is a 42"x 72" rectangular 1/2" thick clear acrylic, framed in a competition grade anodized aluminum framework. It includes a bright white 2" border and an official size shooters square screen-printed on the backside. The standard rim is a flexible, institutional quality type, built of no less than 3/16" steel structural components, featuring an official 5/8" diameter high strength steel ring supported by a 3/16" brace supporting 60% of the ring, and finished with orange powdercoating. Spring action for the rim is provided by a heavy duty compression wire spring enclosed by a steel coverplate, and it is punched to mount either a 3"x 4" or 5"x 5" hole pattern.

The entire RuffNeck Supreme-EXT Basketball System has an approximate weight of 290#. A 20-Year Limited Warranty covers the pole, backboard, and standard rim.

20-Year Limited Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
