The A-2 Tennis Center Strap Anchor is the permanent ground fitting that a tennis net center strap hooks into. It is positioned on the tennis net center line so the strap pulls the net down to regulation height at mid-court, and the anchor sits flush with the playing surface so it does not interfere with play or maintenance equipment.
The anchor body is a heavy wall zinc coated steel tube, and the pin is secured with a zinc plated bolt and nut so assembly and any later service can be done with simple hand tools. Both the tube coating and the plated hardware are intended for permanent outdoor exposure in a concrete court installation.
Installation is in-ground: the anchor is set into a concrete footing at the center line, with rebar supplied by the installer and a break applied between the concrete slab and the beam. The center strap itself, a 2" wide adjustable nylon webbing with a double snap hook, is the CS-1 and is sold separately.
