The First Team Legend Playground Dual Basketball System features a 6” square 3/16” wall steel vertical pole designed for 48” burial, offering a minimum 66” extension. The Legend Playground Dual Basketball System is constructed with a 6” square 3/16” wall steel tubing vertical pole, intended for 48” burial in concrete, and sealed with a watertight steel cap. It features two main 45 degree extension arms, also made from 6” square 3/16” wall steel tubing, providing a minimum of 66” extension from the pole to the backboard face. The arm is securely attached to the pole with two ½” thick steel plates and six 5/8” high strength bolts, allowing the rim height to be adjusted from 6’ to 10’.

The system includes two approximately 42”x 60” rectangular steel backboards, each with a 10 gauge steel skin and ¼” thick vertical struts. The backboards have a white graffiti-resistant powdercoat finish and an official orange shooters square. Two standard rims are provided, fabricated from 3/16” backplates and sideplates, and are double 5/8” diameter high strength steel, powdercoated orange. Nets are attached via a netlocking system that accommodates either nylon or chain nets, with a nylon net included.

All steel pole components are welded using a maximum penetration, continuous weld, MIG procedure and have a polyester powder-coated black finish. The rim and backboard are directly mounted to the pole, transferring weight suspended from the rim to the pole structure, with the backboard also mounted at four top and bottom places to eliminate rust streaks. The entire system has an approximate weight of 997# and carries a Lifetime Unconditional Warranty covering the pole, backboard, and standard rim.

Lifetime Unconditional Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
