The main difference between screen types is the shape of the cutout and how much of your body it covers. A true L-screen has an L-shaped opening for the throwing arm, which is what makes it popular for baseball batting practice. Softball options here include the Jaypro Softball "C" Shape Screen (7'x5') and the Jaypro Softball Pitching Protector (7'x7'), which use shapes suited to underhand delivery. Jaypro also offers a Baseball "L" Screen (7'x7') and a taller "L2" Screen (9'x7') for coaches who want more overhead coverage.
