The Douglas PolyPro Plus Premium Fence Screen is made from 100% polypropylene in a vented open mesh leno weave pattern that allows air to pass through while still providing privacy. This construction reduces strain on fencing, making it a good fit for taller fences and locations exposed to high winds. The material is heat-set so it resists shrinking or changing shape over time, and UV and weather protection is extruded into every fiber for long-term performance.

Douglas reinforces the screen with 4-ply extra-strong hems that include solid vinyl inserts and an 18oz vinyl overlay, double sewn to 1-1/2 inches wide. #2 brass grommets are placed every 12 inches along the panel sides and every 18 inches along the top and bottom. Panels taller than 6 ft include a center tab reinforced with 3-inch wide heavy polyester webbing and grommets every 18 inches, allowing the screen to be secured mid-panel to reduce billowing in strong winds.

Screens are available in standard 6 ft and 9 ft heights, with custom heights available by request; length is made to order to the nearest inch, with 60 ft as the maximum recommended length per panel. Optional AVR-style air vents, measuring 8 inches wide by 10 inches high, can be added at 10 ft intervals to further relieve wind pressure on the fence and screen. The material comes in Black or Dark Green and is backed by a 4-Year Limited Warranty.

4 Year Limited Warranty

Douglas Industries, Inc. (Eldridge, Iowa) backs its equipment with the Douglas® Standard Limited Warranty against defects in material and factory workmanship. Coverage length depends on the product line — where a specific period is listed above, that period applies to this model. Douglas warranty periods run as follows:

Limited Lifetime – gooseneck basketball posts with 6' extension.
25 years – gooseneck basketball posts with 4' extension.
10 years – gooseneck posts with 3' extension; pro-rated structural warranty on Bakko and steel/aluminum backboards (1 year on the Imron® finish); selected post and net systems.
7 years – Douglas® MAX batting tunnel frames (with proper installation and normal use).
5 years – standard Douglas® batting tunnel frames, most tennis / volleyball / pickleball post systems and Premier™ posts; 5-year fade warranty on Sunbrella® canvas.
4 years – VCP MAX windscreen mesh, #420 knotless pylon netting and other netting lines; fabrics are warranted pro-rata for 3–4 years against material defects and poor workmanship.
3 years – selected fabric and netting products.
2 years – selected hardware and padding.
1 year – accessories, replacement parts and paint / finish coverage.

Digital printing on windscreen and vinyl products carries the same warranty as the underlying windscreen or vinyl material.

Not covered: improper installation, use other than intended, unauthorized alterations, abuse or misuse, normal wear, and damage from fire, flood, wind, lightning or leaving products outdoors beyond their intended seasonal use.
