The Legend Jr. III-BP Basketball System features a robust vertical pole constructed from 5" square, 3/16" wall steel tubing with a polyester powder-coated black finish. It includes a 3/8" thick baseplate with 4 support gussets, designed for a 5-bolt anchor system. The main extension arm, also 5" square 3/16" wall steel tubing, provides a 52" extension from the front of the pole to the face of the backboard.

This system is equipped with a 36"x 54" rectangular, 1/2" thick acrylic backboard, framed with 1/8" thick anodized aluminum. The backboard features a bright white 2" border and an official shooters square screened on the backside. The flexible, institutional quality rim has a 5/8" diameter high strength steel ring supported by a 3/16" brace, and is orange powder coated. Rim height is adjustable from 6' to 10'.

The rim and backboard are directly mounted to the pole using high strength steel bolts, ensuring weight transfer directly to the pole structure. All steel pole components are welded using maximum penetration, continuous weld, MIG procedures. The entire system weighs approximately 519# and includes a Lifetime Superior Warranty covering the pole, backboard, and standard rim. It is Made in USA.

Lifetime Superior Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
