The Gared 6283 Custom Base Adapter lets a facility upgrade its volleyball system without replacing existing floor sleeves. Replacing a volleyball system usually means new uprights that no longer fit the sleeves already set in the floor. The Gared 6283 Custom Base Adapter solves that: it adapts a new system to the sleeves you already have, avoiding the cost and disruption of cutting new floor sleeves into the court.

The 6283 has a 3" total diameter and is built from aluminum and steel. Because every gymnasium floor sleeve is slightly different, the adapter is made to order - specify the diameter and depth of your existing floor sleeve when placing the order so the adapter is machined to fit.

This is an accessory item, not a complete volleyball system. It ships UPS at 9 lbs and is made in the US. Gared covers the 6283 under a one year limited warranty against defects in material or factory workmanship.

Warranty

1-Year Limited Warranty on material and factory workmanship

Gared Holdings LLC warrants its equipment against defects in material or factory workmanship. Coverage length depends on the product line — this model carries the warranty noted above where listed. Gared's warranty periods run as follows:

Lifetime - Endurance playground systems: in-ground post, extension arm and bracing components.
25 years - Standard Duty and Heavy Duty playground posts (braced gooseneck and adjustable straight post structures).
10 years - volleyball uprights on OmniSteel, OmniLite, RallyLine and GoCourt systems, and economy playground posts.
5 years - FGP series football goalposts, manual and electric winches, curtain hoists and the SafStop gymnasium structure.
4 years - 2500 / 2500I Tournament breakaway goals.
3 years - winch assemblies, floor sleeves and cover plates, and regulation volleyball nets.
2 years - portable winch winders and selected backboards.
1 year - nets, padding, base adapters, height adjusters, badminton and tetherball systems, referee stands and accessories.

The warranty period starts on the date of substantial completion (installation). Defects must be reported to Gared in writing during the warranty period with proof of purchase and the purchase or installation date; Gared will repair or replace the defective equipment at its discretion, with shipping, insurance and installation costs borne by the owner.

Not covered: improper installation, use other than intended, unauthorized alterations or modifications, abuse or misuse, and damage from fire, flood, wind or lightning. Liability is limited to repair or replacement of the defective equipment. As an authorized Gared dealer, JoySportStore files warranty claims directly with the manufacturer on your behalf.
